Community Life at Alisat

Meaningful support should help people participate, connect, explore, and enjoy their communities. Alisat takes pride in energetic, person-centered outings that reflect each individual’s interests, choices, abilities, and goals.

Community Experiences May Include

• Parks, zoos, museums, cinemas, bowling, festivals, and community events
• Shopping, window shopping, thrifting, dining, and errands
• Recreation, fitness, sports, and hobbies
• Faith-based activities and volunteer opportunities
• Medical appointments and other essential community travel
• Skill-building in communication, budgeting, safety, decision-making, and independence

Person-Centered Planning

Activities are selected with each individual—not for them. Staff support informed choice, accessibility, safety, dignity, and meaningful participation while documenting progress toward person-centered outcomes.
